Homebrew Additions to Diamond Mind Baseball-Created Seasons
***IMPORTANT*** Read this this text below and any instructions with the download to help avoid the pitfalls of something not working.
This page is of homebrew additions that you can add to a Diamond-Mind Baseball-created season that you have purchased from Diamond-Mind Baseball. These additions will not work and will provide no value to you if you do not own the Diamond-Mind Baseball-created season. Purchase it! Make sure you back up your season before adding these additions, just in case something doesn't work right. Also, these additions are only intended to work with the Diamond-Mind Baseball-created season. If you have modified your version of the season, these additions may not work. One other thing... Close Diamond-Mind Baseball before copying the files into your season folder so you're not copying over files that may be open.
Note that for some seasons, there are multiple files that can be downloaded. In the case of seasons (like 1968) where there is a deluxe upgrade and the saved lineups upgrade, it's an "either/or" proposition. The deluxe upgrade includes the saved lineups. The saved lineups file is only for those who only want to include saved lineups to their classic season.
For all the deluxe upgrades with saved lineups, transactions and splits, the saved lineups were input on an Org basis. Deleting the Org or attempting to replay these seasons on a League basis will lose the saved lineups. One advantage of Lynn Miller's saved lineup files is that the lineups are input on a League level. Those of you who prefer to run with saved lineups and only play a league, it's possible (I haven't tested this) that if you take the deluxe upgrade then delete the Org and add Lynn's files, you will have the saved lineups at a league level and still have the transactions and splits.
It is important to "Restart a Season" after copying any of these files into your CPS season. Also, it is possible that you receive a schedule error after copying in the lineup files. If you do receive this error, then "Rebuild Data Indexes" from the "Transfer" pull-down menu in Diamond Mind Baseball.
Also, no upgrades are being shared that are covered by official Diamond Mind Baseball season releases. For example, since Diamond Mind Baseball sells a 1965 season with saved lineups and transactions, no upgrade for saved lineups and transactions for that season are offered here.
If you have added splits or lineups to a Diamond-Mind Baseball-produced season (1927-1973), please send me your season at blackbelt65(at)msn(dot)com. I own all the Diamond-Mind Baseball-produced seasons so there is no copyright issue in sending me your modified season. I'll try to strip out the addition you've made to the season and post it on my webpage for others to enjoy.
Although I don't verify the quality of work of others, I do take at minimum a simple test drive of others' work. I try my best to not release crap. There is one person's work who I won't include here as I consider it to be sub-standard.

1946 Transactions
Stephen Drake added many missing transactions and injuries to the 1946 Classic Season with lineups and transactions. Missing were many April call-ups, many September sent-downs, a few mid-season transactions, and a boatload of injuries. Note that the DMB-released CPS ignored all injuries as transactions because there wasn't officially a disabled list that season. Yet, players still got hurt and were unable to play because of those injuries. This transaction file will allow you to replay 1946 much closer to real-life.
To use, simply exit from DMB, unzip this file into your 1946 folder, and enjoy.
