2009 Season Release Imminent and Version 10 Update

Greetings! The news you all have been awaiting is finally here.

2009 Season

The 2009 Season will be released later this week during our traditional mid-December release time. Price is $29.95.

We had hoped to have a new, upgraded online store in place by now that would integrate the order system with your inventory histories, however, the contract for that system has not been completed. Therefore, we will take orders through the existing online store, http://diamondmind.stores.yahoo.net/.

The 2009 Season item will be in the Diamond Mind store by Tuesday evening, 12/15. Once you see the item in the store, please place your orders there. These will not be pre-orders, they will be processed daily with delivery of the season later this week when it is released.

A change this year - the 2009 Season will be available for email delivery only. We've been saying for a while that CD delivery would go away one day...that day has now arrived. David Pyke is providing instructions for burning your own CD (for those who need to wrap something and put it under a tree) and/or copying the file to a flash drive as a backup. David will post those instructions in a separate post.

One more thing, as most of you know, my office hours were limited back in March and I am available during afternoon hours only. My primary task during those hours is to process orders from the online store.

Please place your orders through the online store if at all possible. If you have a question, please email me at info@diamond-mind.com or leave a voicemail message at 800-400-4803. Please do not ring and hang up - leave a message with your name, phone number and times when I can call you back. I've always enjoyed talking to you in years past when you place your orders, but with my limited available hours this year, I'll be able to process your orders more quickly if you place them online.

Version 10

Version 10 is going to be available by electronic download but to do that, we need the new, upgraded store available. Ideally, we are hoping for a January release and will let you know as soon as we know in a later newsletter, along with pricing info.

Note: Version 10 will convert versions 8 and 9 format seasons to version 10 format.
