I understand your frustration, but there are some things going on behind the scenes of which you are unaware.

As you know, we started exploring the upgrade package concept, an idea suggested by members of the community. While doing so, Tom suggested an idea for how we could do a version 10. We have held off telling you the details because it would require some involvement from Tom, and his availability was uncertain. We didn't want to announce anything until we were sure.

During that time, I was dealing with two major life events - getting married, plus my mother was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. Tom offered to handle the planning for me. But with him still working for the Red Sox and me dealing with significant personal issues, this has slowed things down. We will definitely post something within the next few days.
