Upgrade Package Announcement

In the past three weeks since the announcement of the possibility of a subscription plan for upgrades and updates to DMB, you have shared your comments and ideas with us and we appreciate that very much. After careful consideration of your comments and much discussion internally, we've decided to take your advice to heart and restructure the initial plan into something that we hope is both palatable to our customers and efficient for us to implement.

First of all, we will keep the DMB Yahoo online store and not require you to register and buy a subscription on the Imagine Sports site for the PC game. (Of course, we highly recommend that you register there to be a part of the development of the Diamond Mind Live game and other games on the site!)

You'll be able to purchase the upgrade package from the online store, which will include upgrades to the game and play-by-play (pricing to be determined with help from the focus group's input). Because you all use the game in different ways, it seems best not to include any season purchases with the upgrades. So, we will continue as before with the separate purchases of our seasons and season upgrades.

We plan to have the first upgrade package available to order no later than September. We'll announce by August 15 the final pricing and a list of features for the first upgrade. We will keep you updated as decisions are finalized.
