Imagine Sports signs free agents!

07/10/07 – IS Announcement  (Dayne Myers)

Dayne Please join me in welcoming some additions to the Imagine Sports management team...

David Mandelbrot is our new Senior VP of Business Development & Marketing. Previously, Dave was Director of Business Development for Yahoo Sports & Entertainment and then VP & GM of the Yahoo Search Content Division. His username is "IS_dukebrot", the first part of which indicates where, unfortunately, he got an education (or at least claims to have). :)

Sonjaya Tandon is our Chief Architect and Director of Development. Sonjaya joins us from Syntricity, where he was chief architect, and he has extensive experience in internet development. Sonjaya is a big sports and games fan. He and 4D are dueling it out in a league now, in fact. Given that he's a Cornell grad, however, he is handicapped by lack of quality sports experience! His username is IS_sonjaya.

Dave and Sonjaya actually joined us a few months ago, but I just realized that I hadn't made an intro. Dave will be seeking some feedback from you all for some ideas we're considering. Those of you in the basketball beta test will be seeing much of Sonjaya.

We've also added a few more programmers to the team. You'll be hearing from them as time goes on.
