Imagine Sports (formally Simnasium) is looking for Technical Support Contractors

Imagine Sports, the parent company of Diamond Mind Baseball, is looking for technical support contractors for their Windows-based game, Diamond Mind Baseball (www.DiamondMind.com). DMB is the most sophisticated and realistic text-based, strategic baseball simulation game on the market. The DMB game engine also drives Imagine Sportss online, fantasy baseball simulation game, Total Baseball (www.ImagineSports.com).

Diamond Mind Technical Support Contractor

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and assist customers with technical issues they may encounter while using Diamond Mind Baseball.

Re-create and confirm bug reports and test their solution.

Work with engineering team to troubleshoot elevated technical issues experienced by customers.

Other technical projects as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

Extensive familiarity with the Diamond Mind Baseball Game including setting up Internet and solitaire leagues, drafts, and post seasons.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Excellent customer service skills; ability and patience to work with customers with a wide range of technical skills.

Ability to configure software and hardware (router and modem) firewalls for port forwarding.

Experience diagnosing and solving various Windows permission issues, especially with Windows Vista.

Familiarity with Windows emulators for Macs and the knowledge to install, configure, and run DMB on them.

Highly Desirable:

Experience and comfort with working in a fast-paced growth-company environment is desired.

C and C++ programming skills.
