Spain is a proud country rich in both European and Moorish history. Although once a dictatorship that was somewhat closed to the rest of Europe, Spain is now a welcoming country with many sights worth seeing. English is widely spoken. Transportation can be a hassle as ticket lines at the train stations can be long and very slow. Train routes to Portugal are limited and it may be necessary to travel by bus.
I recommend visiting Spain to explore Moorish history and view beautiful white-washed villages.
