Areas Visited: Southwest Hills, Inverness, Aberdeen, Edinburgh. (2006)
Scotland is a country filled with green hills, many lakes, castles and shy lake monsters. Although they speak English, the different accents and some alternate pronounciations can sometimes be a bit tricky. Renting a car and driving is easy to do, although it does take a little getting used to driving on the "wrong side" of the road and all those "bloody" round-abouts. Scotland has its own money, but accepts the British pound also. It is quite a bit more expensive than the U.S.
I recommend visiting Scotland to expore the many green hills, visit some castles and possibly see Nessie.
