Areas Visited: Krakow, Auschwitz-Birkenau, Czestochowa, Warsaw. (2007)

Poland is one of my favorite places that I’ve visited. It has a rich history and people who are very friendly. Although I found few people who could speak English, the Polish people are very willing to attempt to communicate.

Poland is a very enjoyable place to visit because it’s not over-run with tourists like western Europe. The various tourist sites aren’t yet over-run with tour buses and large crowds. But, Poland is very accessible to tourists as transportation and lodging are very easy to find.

I highly recommend visiting Poland and its very rich history.
