Jordan surprised me at how accommodating it is to tourists. I had expected a much more restrictive culture in the Middle East. Jordan appreciates its tourists and makes it very easy to see the main sites. I felt very safe.
It is very hot, but not humid.
I recommend visiting Jordan to take a swim in the Dead Sea, visiting where Jesus was baptized, exploring the ancient ruins of Petra, and visiting the wonderful beauty of Wadi Rum.
