Japan is a friendly and very polite country with a rich culture and great food. It is slightly more expensive than the U.S. Transportation is very modern with excellent subway systems in all the major cities with English signage. Subway fares are a bit confusing as the fare is dependent up how far you travel and if you change trains. It is easy to get around and find things to see or do.
I highly recommend visiting Japan to see its rich culture, eat its wonderful food and attend baseball games and sumo matches.
